Covering 5 regions of the country and present in 08 university cities through its 16 institutions, IZU fully plays its role as a local university. Indeed, welcoming more than 120,000 students and providing them with a wide range of multidisciplinary training courses, IZU is today a key player in the territorial development of Morocco’s southern regions.

IZU has more than 120,000 students spread over 8 university cities: Agadir, Ait Melloul, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Laâyoune, Guelmim, Smara and Dakhla. It covers more than 50% of the national territory. It includes 16 institutions: National School of Trade and Management of Agadir (NSTMA), National School of Trade and Management of Dakhla (NSTMD), National School of Applied Sciences of Agadir (NSASA), Superior School of Technology of Agadir (SSTA), Superior School of Technology of Guelmim (SSTG), Superior School of Technology of Laayoune (SSTL), Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Agadir (FLESSA), Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Ait Melloul (FLESSAM), Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Agadir (FLHSA), Faculty of Sciences of Agadir (FSA), Poly Disciplinary Faculty of Ouarzazate (PDFO), Poly Disciplinary Faculty of Taroudant (FDFT), Faculty of CHARIAA of Ait Mellou, (FCAM), Faculty OULOUM CHARIA of Smara (FOCS) and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir (FMPA).
