UNIZG promoting Earth observation from Space and MLUMSE project
On May 14th in Zagreb has been organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth and European Space Agency the seminar “Unlocking the value of Space” dedicated to presenting the possibilities of applying data collected from space (Earth Observation) in the work of the Croatian public administration. The event has gathered some 100 professionals in filed of Earth observation from business, academia and public sector. In the panel session titled “Collaboration Between the Private, Public, and Academic Sectors in the Field of Earth Observation” one of the panelists was prof. dr. Željko Bačić who used the opportunity to present activities of MLUMSE project related to usage of Earth observation data from Space for creation of digital twins for urban and land planning and management.
