Join us on 13 October 2026 for an online lecture titled “Urban Digital Twins: Data-Driven Platforms for City Planning”, delivered by Prof. Mila Koeva from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. Organized within the MLUMSE and DTT4SD projects, the lecture will explore how Urban Digital Twins support data-driven urban planning and decision-making.
The SDI Days 2026 conference was held on 27–28 May 2026 in Šibenik, Croatia, organised by the State Geodetic Administration. As part of the conference programme, Vesna Poslončec-Petrić and Željko Bačić from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Geodesy presented MLUMSE project
The second “Egypt Digital Twin 2026” was held in Cairo on 22 April 2026. Our colleague, Amr Hanafi Ali, participated in the conference as a keynote speaker and panellist.

WP2 of MLUMSE project successfully finalized in July 2025. This Work Package (WP) aims to comprehensively analyze the current situation in the Southern Mediterranean in the relevant fields of urban planning and land management in order to identify existing challenges and opportunities.
A bilateral meeting was held at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, with representatives from Alexandria University in Egypt.
